Another vote for therma-cell ... probably the cheapest, but most effective hunting product I have bought!!!

Another vote for therma-cell. I was getting tore up opening day and bought a therma-cell in anticipation of the warm weather. Had a W wind at 8mph turned it on and about three hours later had 5 bucks under my stand for about 30min and never got winded. P.S. they came right into the wind. Good product

Im here in north Alabama and the skeeters are ALWAYS ruff at the beginning of the season ...the best we can hope for is about a 10 to 15 mph wind it seems to keep them away ... I killed one last year I had mounted ..he looked like a B52 ...seriously I wear a Bug Tammer suite ...sure helps ..

Therma cell..it's not scent free since I can smell the fumes..but I'm not either. I'm too cold natured for bug suits..got a new top I've never wore..Therma cell came out the same yr. I got it.

I may have to try one of those thermacells. Skeeters are bad right now.

After the first 2 weekends of season, I got tore up by the skeeters, so I went to Bass Pro and got the compact Thermacell. Next day a cold front came through and its been cool ever since.... Oh well. Im sure Ill get to use it at some point.

Thermacell! Great product! Used it for the first time this spring while turkey hunting, and it worked great on black flies and mosquitoes. I know it isnt totally scent free, but I read enough positive deer hunting stories that I gave it a shot here during the RI opener. Had 4 deer very close for about a half hour and I did not get winded.
