.....but i was not thinking. We went hunnting this evening and it was getting dark but was light enough i would still shoot. I was lookin around debating weather or not to get down when i start hear this crunch,,crunch,, crunch,,i though it was a squirrel and i was completly not thinking,, then i hear the crunch crunch crunch again and think oh chit,,there is deer coming in on the trail behind me. So i sit real still and could hear them sniffing then hear them start to walk agian,so i started to turn around,and seen that there was two does beside me. Luckly i got turned around with out getting busted and then there was another doe that came in behind them, so i pick up my bow and draw back and was waiting for one to turn broadside but they never did. The lead doe finaly go broadside but she was 40yrds at least,,so i did get my first deer yet,,but if i would have been thinking and turned the other way or stood there i would have shoot me a doe even though they looked kinda small but i aint no trophie hunter i would have been just as proad of it as i would have been a big buck,,,BTW this trail is only about 10yrds from the base of the tree that i was in. then i when to get out of my stand and spooked them off so i prolly wont get another chance like that. that was my evening pretty interestin aint it..

You may get another chance at them. Maybe give that location a few days before you head back. Sure sounds like a fun evening on stand!

Yea they should come back again if you leave the spot alone for awhile and let it go back to normal. You'll get your chance just be patient.
