carry light decoys

RE: carry light decoys
Hmm, I am familiar with the feather light decoy. Is this the same one or is there a difference. If it is the same model then I actually think it works quite well. I used it several times last season and on at least two occasions I had deer come in to it.

No, I think there's a actually a Carry Lite decoy that goes by that brand name. Then there's the Feather Flex, if I'm not mistaken. Anyway... to answer your question, no -- but I think it's Bob Robb that has a real good article about decoying in one of this month's bowhunting mags.
I guess I'll eventually break down and buy the Carry Lite since it looks like thats the deke of choice among all the pros out there... though those $80 3D targets with the replaceable midsections sure would hurt the wallet a lot less!

RE: carry light decoys
I have a carry lite. I used it last year with success bring in does, but never got a buck to come to it. (But I never saw a buck react negatively either)
I had does touch noses with the decoy twice last year. Pretty funny to watch them jump back when they realize the decoy isn't a live deer.
I LIKE my Carry Lite decoy, and I plan on using it again this fall.
