Default After the rain

Wow, what a rain we had for the last day and 1/2. This morning
would have been a great morning to be out to see some movement,
but here in Blue Pa. we can't hunt on Sunday.[:'(] I could have easily
got a 3 hour hunt in before anyone else in the house woke up.
Instead I'm watchin hunting on T.V., and typeing on this silly computer.
If I could I'd be out there this mourning.

Okay, you got my attention. Its illegal to hunt on Sunday in PA? Don't want you shooting deer on the way to church, or what? Sounds like a law that has been on the books since puritan times. Time to lobby for a change.

That's absoulutely crazy! working guys that only have weekends to hunt, and can only do so on a saturday. I'd get in touch with the NRA, and have legistation changed in the state. Just my 2$ents worth.

There have been efforts for years to have the Sunday law removed but so far it always gets defeated somehow. I'd like to think that times are changing though. Maybe by 2010 we'll see it removed. I can always hope anyway.

I am all for Sunday hunting...but I know the wife wouldn't be.

Tomorrow is going to be the day for those of you who have off. I may just have to take off for this one.
