Just wondering how they do it?

Most people suggest taking pictures without having the deer gutted. Just makes for better pictures. They also suggest you do it in the wild and not in a garage or house yard or anything.
I usually...take the deer out of the woods, and then gut it at the house in our woods. It still makes good pictures...and that's just usually how I do it. If I had to hump it out, by myself, on foot...I might gut it first in the woods to make it lighter to drag.

I actually take the camera with me out into the woods and take the pic before I gut it. I typically try to gut the deer next to a stream or some water source then afterwards as it makes cleaning up so much easier.
