Last year I had a coyote come to my bleat call. He quickly left and less than 3 minutes later a doe came out of the exact same opeing in the tree line. So... I would say no, but I have seen coyotes chase deer.

Like others have stated I have seen deer and yotes together in the field. Deer can put up a heck of a fight aganist a yote. If there is a pack of them after a single deer than the deer is probably in trouble. Bucks can kill a yote with no problem with their rack. Arrow every yote you can and skin them or leave them lay.
