Hmmm, thats amazing some guys repeatedly get trophy bucks like this guy. He must just be that much better a hunter than we are, or he has allot of money to spend getting the best hunting spots. Either way thats a hammer for sure.

Can't see where he shot it though
From my understanding the top limb pocket is resting on the exit/entry hole.
Maybe it's just me, but what is that red spot right next to the grip? From the looks of things the animal isn't gutted out (his "boys" are still attached") but his paunch looks rather sunk in. I guess I'm confused.

I guess it doesn't really matter much though, the buck is on the ground and he's got his hands on him. Truely an amazing buck.

Looks gutted to me..........many states require proof of sex left on the animal so not everyone is allowed to cut the "boys" off........don't know about this state though.
I would imagine that those huge things hanging off his head are pretty good indicators...

You have never heard of a doe with antlers??

That is exactly why some states require the "nads" as proof of sex and not just antlers.

Here is a picture of a doe with a nice rack

If these scores are correct, which I have no reason to not believe so, that will be rather odd as a state record typical, nothing "typical" about this bad boy.....

One thing is for sure Mike Beatty's 300 incher is still safe for our state record non-typical

On another board Mike Rex himself posted and said the green typical score is around 215 and the net is "203 and some change".

One awesome deer!

So how do you not look at those antlers? That is a monster of a buck, I thought the one I have been chasing for 4yrs is big, but that thing is dwarfed by that.

I am past president and current secretary/treasurer of the Buckeye Big Buck Club. I score 50+ heads a year and process over 700 score sheets anually, so I'm pretty familiar with the Boone & Crocket scoring system. Two other B&C scorers have green taped him as well. The bucks typical frame is 6 by 5 with a total of 17 scoreable points. Both G1's are almost 15" and the main beams are both 30+ with a 23" inside spread. Both H1's are 6 2/8 and he holds his mass really well. I hope that helps explain his typical frame. His sheds from last year net over 231 given only an 18" inside spread.
I quoted this from Mike Rex from another site

As I said these are his words and are quoted from him.
