Hey congrats on your hunt. You did good. Make it a learning experience though. Just remember to pick a spot in the vital area.

You hit the femoral artery which results in a very quick and lethal kill. Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good!

Hey, at least you got her. That's a plus. It does show you one thing though. You can practice till your body hurts. There is nothing like getting all that pressure at the moment of truth, That's why it's better to shoot a lot of 3D under pressure, It makes you concentrate better. Good luck in the future.

Congratulations on your first deer with a bow. The end result is what matters and although we all strive for the quickest, cleanest high percentage shot, reality tells us, it doesn't always happen that way. You made a good shot, you recovered your animal...that's all that can be expected of you as a hunter. Now enjoy your rewards on the supper table. Nice job.
