Didn't read all the followups, so this may have already been suggested. A guy gave this speech in my speech class about 10yrs ago.....the assignment sounded identical to yours. He gave it on how to properly clean a firearm.....I at a small redneck college, and the prof. ok'd him to bring a firearm to class. I guess this my be your only hurdle. How bout, knapping arrowheads (if you know how), or tying a fishing knot, cleaning or spooling a reel????? Tie a know and make the class do it, get them involved. Good luck.
