Default This doe needs some.... riccola

Last night as i was sitting in my stand I thought I heard what sounded to me like a person coughing. So, of course, I became angered that someone was walking around in my area. A few seconds after that thought crossed my mind a doe came about 15 yards to my left and started to cough...just like a human. She continued for about a minute and left. So what I am now proposing is my new invention. You've heard of salt and mineral blocks, so what about a cough drop block? Would that be considered the humane thing and if so can a hunter finally get some love from PETA? HAHA

An arrow through both lungs should clear it up.

Sounds like a great idea. What flavor are you going to use? Root beer? Vanilla?

Its very common for deer to get colds this time of the year, especially if they are eating off the same food plot or bait pile. they pass the germs aroudn alot faster that way than they do just socializing. I have had several deer come in this year sneezing and couging, mainly the smallers, this is more than likely because they havet gotten their immune system built up yet. But they will soon.
