Pa opener for the books....
Well got out today and into the stand well b4 first light , at about 730 i heard a herd of deer coming my way , sounded liek they were running , next thing i kno i just see them cut up the hill and dissappear. 5 minutes later a doe and her 2 fawns come down the hill and go the way the other deer had just came. B4 long i had 10 doe all in my little area , so i decided if one of the lonesome mature doe offer a shot ill take it.....well i got my oppertunity at 40 yds. i took a nice doe today at 7:50 am , got a lung and the liver , so i had to give her some time to lie down. my brother recovered her for me and shes waiting to get butchered at the house since i had to come to hockey back at college, cant wit for those tender loins tonight!
