kidnda young and small no?
Not from what I am seeing. Pabowhntr looks kinda like a big dude and would be in the 35ish agerange so not soyoung.

The buck looks kinda of dead, the bowhunter looks happy/proud and the story was great. It's too bad you don't see that as that's what makes bowhunting great!!

I am 6'4", 250 lbs and 34 years young...so, no, not quite either.

Thanks again guys for all the congratulations. I still haven't come off of cloud nine just yet.

Matt,

Yep, alot of hunting pressure at my hunting area. Believe it or not I was not the only one there at 3:50 am. There were two cars already parked on one of the other roads I passed on the way in and another guy pulled into the lot just as I was walking across the road and into the pines. Getting there early doesn't necessarily mean anything though. I have had guys roll in at 6:30 am on the opening day and proceed to put a treestand up, loudly I might add, within 40 or 50 yards of me.

Thanks again folks for sharing in my great weekend.

Hey PA...nice buck for sure! That looks like a pretty big body too...but of course next to your big butt it's hard to tell for sure [8D]I had to laugh at that moronic statement about something being small and young. It's not a small young deer, and you surely ain't small and young. Maybe it was a small young brain doing the thinking and typing...

I have to give you credit...getting up that early to battle the masses, cudos to you. I don't think I could do it. I would have to find some private land, to remain sane. I have no idea how you could handle hunters 50yds from you.

One question....how do you think the ar's are working up there for you guys? As far as I can tell, it looks like they are making things much better...at least from what can I see from the outside.

Just curious....would you have shot the first buck if you were allowed? Not being allowed, may have helped you get the big one. Thats a good promo for QDM right there. Either way, it worked out for the best for you...great job! Now you can relax and enjoy the rest of the season...and get some meat!

Hey, nice deer man, and a great pic to go with it. That was an excellent job of telling the story too, by the way. Awesome, and congrats.
