Default Severe storms missed opening morn!

Well the morning started off rocking and rolling with storms from midnight on. Was up most of the night because of them. When alarm went off at 5 they were still going at it. Oh well. I'll be out there this afternoon to catch the tailend of the opener. Good luck to all!

Yea, it was a little rough this morning on the stand. Saw two does, but no shots. Maybe itll be nicer this afternoon.

If the storm is bad enough, it will probably supress deer movement. Butonce the storm breaks...watch out. I'd stay glued to the weather channel and get my butt up in a stand as soon asthe storm passes.

Hey fellow Okies. Storms had passed in SW oklahoma by Saturday morning but dang that Oklahoma Wind! It about blew me out of the tree! I didn't see anything in the AM but it was nice to get a good rain so I could look around a little for fresh tracks. My son and I went out and made a ground blind by a pond during the PM. I had seen lots of tracks while scouting the area recently (only place wet enough to see tracks the last few weeks). The wind finally died down about 6:30. Sure enough a doe and fawn popped out to drink. We watched them for a while before they got downwind of our entry trail and left.
