Very common around here. I know of a guy that picked up 7 climbers one day while walking in the woods/ Then bragged about and how dumb hunters are

Sry to hear that, however I agree with heeze your buddy was only asking for it to get stolen on Public land. I would never attempt to hang it in anywhere other then private land.

I have heard of people putting notes inside their cameras that read something like this.

If you find this camera and have not found the other 4, then I probably have you on film stealing this one. I will press charges so please leave it alone.

I doubt that this would work every time but it might be worth a try and there is always room inside the case for a note like this. If someone thinks they might get caught it could make all the difference in the world. I also think that engraving your name on the case is an excellent deterrent to theft.
that is an absolutely great idea. i'll have to try that on the next cam we get. :D

Gouge out an area in the tree behind the camera, insert grenade, strap camera to tree and pull the pin. You will still lose the camera but gain some good fertilizer.

That definitely sucks. Never had my game cam stole although I was with a customer last week and he was complaining that someone had stolen the film out of his, not the camera just the film.

Thats incredibly low, no matter where you place it. Its not yours, DONT take or touch it, period. Common criminals are more abundant than one would think, even in the woods. Its a shame people dont respect other peoples property anymore. Some of you guys are even saying he had it coming to him for having in Public woods. Its a shame that some of you are basically condoning his propert being stolen because of it being located in public hunting land. Thank God I have 6 different private hunting properties andover 4,000 acres tio hunt. I feel for the honest guys that have to hunt Public land, and have these inconsiderate thieves sneaking around the same areas as you.
