For those who made fun of my Kia....

...come on now, at least it is a Sportage and not one of their cars.... I bought it slightly used (4K) last December. It is a 2001 model, fully loaded, leather, etc... and it works just fine for sticking a deer in the back...provided the back seat is down that is...

The wife is driving a 2002 Nissan Xterra...at least for now...until the next little bundle of joy comes and we hook her up with a minivan and I take the Xterra....

445,

I ended up with a Fred Bear Epic Extreme. Previous bows for this year would include: Hoyt Havoctec, Cybertec, Bowtech Pro 38, Buckmaster G2, Jennings Rackmaster and Parker Ultralite 31. I had owned a previous year's Epic Extreme and was happy with just about everything except for the speed. This time I haven't chronoed it yet... But, the new Hoyts are set to debut on October 15th so I will probably end up with a new one by November 1st to finish the regular season out and for the extended season after Christmas.

Sooner,

Congratulations on the deer. It must have been just like the first time after such a long absence from the sport....and to have your child along with you must have been something.

Thank you all for the well wishes.

Frank, I'd like to meet up with the guy/s that made those rubs. Good luck getting him. BTW, when you take the pics of your big buck be sure to include one standing in front of the Sportage for those that made fun of you.

Hey PaBowntr I wish you the best of luck this Pa Archery season. Save one for me because I EAS out of the USMC in 2004. Then I can return to my lifestyle of bowhunting again. Hunt safe, and Hunt hard.

Thanks again guys.

HuntingBry,

That is a darn good idea. I think I will do just that.....

..but, wait a second, I can't do that....that is one of the cardinal rules of Matt/Pa's "good photo" requirements....

No vehicles in picture....

Mathews,

I will be sure too...I promise...
