I am just the opposite. I have shot the Tomkat and think it is a great little shooter for the price. Haven't shot the Buckskin yet.

What I prefer, you may not. From what I hear, you couldn't go wrong with either. I always select a bow on how it "feels" when I hold and draw it back. If it doesn't feel right I move on to another, regardless of what others are shooting. Kinda hard to explain. I've actually picked a bow out one time (I liked how it looked and it had good reviews), went to buy it and ended up with another! Good Luck!!

ohio....by that time.. MAY...the Mathews switchback might be a tad cheaper.....now that your not making a purchase....do some research...check out pro shops and get a feel and take notes..this way when you spend close to a grand for all the bells and whistles.....the newest, latest...you wont feel sick to your stomach...........good luck and do your homework.....your the one who decides ..ultimately..And there is no such thing as a full refund.....once its shot ....its used...and worth about a third of what you laid out hours before......FEEL BETTER
Good safe hunting to ya

oops you already know this...well.good reading for those who dont

I agree, it really depends on the feel, but I have a Bowtech TomKat and it's a quick and quiet little bow, I love it.
