Default buckmasters history?? anyone?

hello, im russ, this is my first post on here, and im curious to learn about my new bow. Its a jennings buckmaster pwc. the box said it was manufactured in 2000. i bought i t brand new from a gun shop getting out of archery (harsh competitors). it said orig. price on the box, i bought it fr 99 with really nothing on it except for strings. i absolutely love it, i just had it set up, and have been shooting. Anyway, my question is who makes the buckmaster, my 2 best friends have a buckmaster g2xl, made by fred bear, and my other best friend has a rackmaster (says jennings like mine on it) the 2 buckmaster feature the same logo and many features. Does anyone know how this worked dd fred bear purchase buckmaster rights.? any input would be appreciated. thanks.!

Welcome to the forums.

Yes, Fred Bear and Jennings are all part of the same company.

The last time I checked, Jennings, Buckmasters, Fred Bear and the now defunct Golden Eagle were all under the umbrella of the North America Archery Group. However, I believe that was bought out by Escalade Sports several years ago. Whether or not they are still considered "NAAG" bows I cannot say.

The Buckmaster PWC was second generation. The original model had a single cam design but without the perimeter weight.

This is correct. They are Escalade now.

Yep, I totally forgot that part of the post. The original Buckmasters sold right at $300 so at one third the price I think you got a steal.

Default PABowhunter, what does PWC stand for?

Would that be considered the Buckmaster 2000?
I bought my Buckmaster 2000 new, because of the brace heigthand axle to axle length it was considered forgiving for a new bowhunter.
I've been very happy with it but the pro shop didn't have an owners manual for it.
Does anyone know where to write to get an owners manual for a Buckmaster 2000?Thanks
