I would use regular doe urine or buck urine this early in the season and then switch to an estrous doe scent at the end of October.

Although I do not use drippers, I usually start my mock scrapes in late August. I use Tinks trophy buck lure, but I'm sure any territorial scent will work. Just make sure you start before the bucks start making scrapes, you want yours to be the first they find.

Do what PAbowhunter said. He is in a very similar climate so the timing should work well for you as well.
