2 questions about horton xl 175 crossbow
i just purchased one from bass pro and was wondering 2 things.1. how hard is it to mount a crossbow scope?2. What is the dial thing that is on the side of the stock?

I am not familiar with that particular model but the local shop sells the Explorer 150. I believe they are similar enough for me to comment. 1. It is relatively easy to mount a scope. Did yours come with the mount already installed? If so then all you would need is the scope and rings. Very simple process.
The dial, I believe, elevates or lowers the scope mount.
