I'm losing my mind!

Between my wife about to give birth to our first baby andbow season startingin 21daysI think I'm losing my mind. It's 1:15am and I just came in from the garage, I've been camo'ing and mounting bow holders for an atv on the handlebars of my BIKE!!I'm also trying to figue out a way to build a rack or some type of mount to carry mylone wolf climber on the back of the bike[&:].
I'll be glad when my wife delivers and the season starts, the anticipation of the twoare driving me crazy!!! I need to get in the woods and release some energy!

I can sympathize with you. I have a million things going on right now as well (and recently found out that we will be having our second child to boot) not to mention the usual excitement of hunting season so close.

Pabowhunter, congratulations on #2. A my/june birth should work out just fine with bow season. Is everyone gonna fit in the Kia? or is it time to go mini-van
.
Hammerman, when is the wife due? I hope everything comes out perfect. Taking care of momma and a newborn might bump into your bowhunting time, butit will be well worth it if it does.
Camo bow holder racks on the mountain bike? that's one of the choresI have yet to complete before bow season. Have you put your bow in it yet to see how balanced it will travel? I was fearing the forward weight might make things squirrelly.
Up until now I've just used a homemade bow sling, but want to go handle bar for this season. Did you use the fin-grips?
I've also got TONS of things to do before season, but just to make sure the deer have the upperhand mothernature granted me a severly sprained ankle last week and all of my lease chores were put on hold for a while.

Congratulations, Hammer. I'm sure you've heard this. They grow fast so enjoy them everyday. I think I can speak for most of the guy's in the contest. Go ahead and take this season off and help momma with this glorious little bundle of joy on the way.

Hammer, man I can completely relate to you on this one as I was in a very similar situation back when my son was born.
Frank, congrats toyou and your wife on the great news! I have a feeling we're not far away from having another child. My wife is getting that urge again.

Congrats to you both.I want another child and wife says I have to grow up firsat.I have 3 daughters a step son and a step daughter who in all reality are all my kids.Plus I am a grandfather at way to young od a age.My oldest was bornwhen I was only 17 and she is almost 19.But I still want another one.
Now as for the bow holder.I do not know what kind of bike you have but. There is a simple way to make a carry all for your bike wihtout adding a trailor. If you have a little ingenuity it is very simple.Take the back tire off.make some measurements bring upa pieces of metal from each side where your tire mounts to the frame.Make a small cradle to go around the frame going out to where the tires mount.I would say use a piece of rubber between the bracket you make and the frame. Then bring a piece out from your seat post. From there y6ou can judge how long each piece needs to be to clear your tire and have room to mount your stand..I would mount the stand not flat but standing on its side to jelp from catching against strees and bushes and such. You will have to play with it a little to figure out the best position for balance.I havent made this yet for my bike because all the property I hunt is private. But before I finally talked the wife into letting me buy a quad I was contemplating this idea for my bike.If you need some more in depth plans on this PM me and I will give you a step by step and can probably give you some what of a diagram.
