I have shot helical and straight fletched feathers and vanes but this yr i tried quik spin 4" vanes that are straight fletched and they shoot unbelievable, they are the best i have ever tried they even seem to penetrate more than my other arrows. i also chronographed them and didnt lose any speed so as far as i can tell you try them!!! works for me!!

Just had my arrows refletched with NAP QuickSpins and my bow setup with a ripcord drop away arrow rest. AWESOME, even at fourty yards. Very noticeable difference from staight fletch.

You are most certainly going to get better accuracy out of a helical fletch provided fletching clearance isn't an issue. Personally, I prefer a slight offset as opposed to helical as it provides some spin without making me worry about fletching clearance issues on a prong style rest.
