Acerns look real good in my part of PA. I was shooting my bow yesterday in the woods.I had my treestand set up in a big white Oak, and the acerns were falling on my head. OUCH[:@]. They were so big and green I almost ate some myself[8D]It looks like a bumper crop this year!!!!

Mesquite is still pretty green here [8D] There is one oak tree on the ranch and it has quite a few acorns on it still. And naturally, a tripod fairly close to it.

Deer sightings have dropped alot here also....Not getting very many trailcam pics in the plots either...Once the bucks here started coming outof velvet a couple weeks ago sightings have really dropped...The ones I have seen have been traveling thru areas where there are alot of acorn trees... I guess they are checking them...I went to hang a couple stands Saturday and also found several rubs on cedars and even found 4 scrapes...I hung some stands Sat. in some transitions zones that have a good # of white and red oaks....Well see what happens

Same thing is happening around this area. Beans/Corn are turning, and the acorns have fell soon this year. Deer sightings have gone way down, wich isnt suprising me.

Acorns are dropping heavy in some areas but sparse in others. They leaves are already turning on some trees and nights are getting alot cooler. Fall is in the air!!

We're in the same situation buckeye. I have actually had really good luck spotting some nice bucks this last week though. I don't know why, it is really hot to boot. It will be interesting to see what happens when the beans come out. Good luck to everyone!!
