RE: How Long Can You Hold At full Draw?

I shot a doe on film last year and just as I came to full draw the doe turned and headed slowly straight at me so I could not shoot or let down. I finally shot her at 6 or 7 yards when she finally turned. When I got back to camp, I told everybody that I held my 65 pound 50% let off bow at full draw for at least 5 minutes. Everybody was laughing and saying no way! you could not have held over a minute or two. So we watched the footage and turned on the timer. It was a little over 3 minutes. It sure seemed like it was over 5 minutes!!!! Anyway, I have found if you take your arm that you pull the string back with and lay your elbow against your bellie and lock it in that position you can hold for quite a while without alot of discomfort.
