I just found out recently that some people have been taking their vehicles through the corn fields onmy brother and I's property. Along with this they have also been shooting out lights at some of the neighboring properties. The nerve that some people have to be doing this. We planted long stretches of corn along the road to help keep people from glassing our fields but I guess that doesn't matter. We have a few nice bucks on our property that I hope make it to the season. Well guys I just wanted to vent my frustration. I just hope I don't run into one the asses responsible one day I am there.

I have to agree that such behavior isn't unique to your area as of late. There is actually a sign with a $500 reward for anyone that reports folks driving through one of the local landowner's fields.
Sad. Really sad.

I would recommend contacting your state wildlife officers as well. I know in NJ if they believed trespassing/poaching was going on they would help out and possibily set up a sting with a decoy. Ever consider putting a plow line in parallel to the road - that has always been the way i've kept them out.

That stuff really pisses me off. I had a poacher shoot a doe I was aiming at during bow season last year. I stalked a herd of deer and when I set up at a cross wind to take a shot I hear blam and the doe I was waiting on limped off. I see some guys walking the river on my property. I tried to follow them to their vehicle but couldnt get a licens. I reported it and the gamewarden hung out on my land all season trying to catch these guys. He never did.
