    I found the same exact lookingfeather in my yard the other day.I was wondering what it might have been from.Beautiful feather huh.

    I believe its aprimary wing feather from a great-horned owl (took 2 ornithology courses at college). I've found several like that.Is itkinda fuzzy feeling? If so, its definately from an owl...their wing feathers are soft which serves to silence wing beatsallowing for a more stealthy flight while their out hunting.

    Thats not a hawk or a owl. Its a turkey feather.
