Default Am I Crazy

I am on a budget and just ordered the Wildview Digital Game Camera by stealth cam ($80 model on sale). I talked to some knowledgable people about cameras in general and they said dont worry about the mega pixel's unless your going to enlarge photos or try to use them in a magazine. I guess I am wondering if anyone has a opinion on they camera.

Megapixels have to do with the resolution. In the case of a trail camera, I would agree that unless you are going to publish them, blow them up, or do something "fancy" with them, more megapixels is not necessarily better. I know of a few people with this camera, and it works well. The only problem is the trigger delay.

Let's see if this will work now. This is a picture taken with that camera.

I would turn it up a couple steps on the pixels. The picture seems to not have enough to fully see the deer and the colors.Or is that one rough looking doe? One thing to remember is that using more pixels will decrease the amount of pictures it will take before the card is full.If you check your camera on a regular basis or there isnt a lot of deer passing this spot then turn it up to whatever you want. You really can just go by turning it up a little ata time until you get the picture quality that you want.may take a few times but you can get a feel for what it needs to be.Take a few pictures of yourself in your camo gear and see how the colors come out. Then adjust up or dwn from there.

For just a basic idea of what went by I don't think the picture quality is bad at all though the previous comment about the trigger delay seems to be the real issue.

No colors? No detail? You could pick any hair off of its back! I also liks the grey, brown shedding contrast!
