I like a little Alabama - Mountain Music and then some DAC "Country Boys Can Survive

Then I bust out the gangster rap - "Regulate." By that point, I'm ready to kill things with my bare hands.

I like hearing the old country classics like Don Williams and Charley Pride on the way there. It puts me in the right mood to just be kick back in a deestand. Settlling down ina stand is a bit of a challenge for me. I tend to to constantly scan and sometimes think I move too much. The those classics do the trick every time!

ORIGINAL: A.D.D. BOY
I love all rock and metal except for punk and this new emo crap i still dont even know what emo is. I like some rap. Im tryin to get tickets to go see System of a Down.
I was wondering when someone was going to say System Of A Down. The Toxicity alblum gets me pumped up. Just about anything metal works for me. I usually sit in the truck a few minutes after I turn it off and let me eyes and ears adjust. The long mile walk into the woods lets me get calmed down.

Were country boys, we shouldn't like rap, RIGHT? Bunch of guys jumping around grabbing themselves, really motivates me for a hunt!!!!!! Gets me in the mood. NOT!!!!!!! Maybe we should turn our guns sideways like the rap gangsters do in video's , bet the deer would be immpressed. YUP, next time you see me I'll be wearing the mercedes hood ordament I stole off the car down the street around my neck, Bow in one hand , hat sideways with my camo on. HUNTING GANGSTER STYLE. What a concept! HAHAHA!

Just b/c we're country boys doesn't mean we're married to country music.

Frankly, I find "new"country music (post-1995)to be ashade depressing, so I avoid it if I can. So, in my search for alternatives, I've discovered 50Cent, Frank Sinatra and System of a Down, among others.

You shouldn't berate ADD b/c he doesn't like country - different strokes for different folks, man.

There's not a thing wrong with appreciating whatever music fits your ear........
I just went through my CD collection in my truck and if anyone can top this for variety, give it a shot.(And I'm a big blonde, straight ,married ,suburban white guy.)
Led Zepplin (Greatest Early Days & Latter Days)
David Bowie's greatest hits
Elton John greatest hits
Metallica "Ride the Lightning"
Snoop Dogg "Doggy Style"
Godsmack
Toby Keith greatest hits and "Shockn' Ya'll"
Gordon Lightfoot "Gord's Gold"
Pink Floyd "Dark side of the Moon"
Sublime
Rolling Stones "40 Licks"
Tori Amos "Little Earthquakes"
Kiss "Lick it Up"

And that's just in my truck. You should see the entire collection behind me in my house. [:-]
So the point is.........can't we all just get along?

Crystal Meth... The Name of the Game

If that song can't get you pumped up, we need to check your pulse. Because chances are pretty good you don't have one. The song is like a mixture of hard core rap, heavy metal, and techno all rolled into one sweet track. I highly recommend it for occasion where you need to get pumped up.
