I had two spotted fawns come under my tree tonight and I could not believe it the spots were not even starting to fade and they had no mother with them. I've never seen them have spots this late still.

Here in PA, I've been in a tree, bow in hand in early Oct and had two spotted fawns run under my tree, moments later a doe strolled in and the two fawns suckled. Part of PA's problem with late breeding, late births.

Two years ago in mid November I saw a fawn that was small and red in color with bright white spots, not even begining to fade. It looked like it was about 2 months old. I hunt in Texas.
