Default Bow Question - Single/Double/Hybrid

HI folks..New guy here.

I currently have an old "PSE" Caroll Marauder II" and I'm thinking of upgrading. I don't usually have time to bowhunt a lot, so I do not want to sink a lot of money into a bow.

I'm looking for suggestions. Do I want a bow with parallel limbs ? Single Cam ? Double Cam ? or Hybrid Cam ? Or be satisfied using my old bow ?

I have picked up & held the PSE Firestorm Lite. It has the parallel limbs & hybrid cams, for a reasonable price.

Suggestions for a bow < $500.00 bucks ?

Thx

double cam would be harder to tune then other two, but would still be easy

heres a site that sells bow packages
http://www.huntersfriend.com/bowpkg2.htm

I have heard this is a nice bow

here is the complete package of the firestorm lite at cabelas. Looks like a good bow, but then again no company makes a bad bow or they would not be in business.

Cam style, in my cases, is personal preference. All of them have their pluses and minuses. Draw cycle, length of valley, tunability, etc... all play a part. I have sloshed around a bit and have ended up shooting a hybrid style cam in the Equalizer cam equipped Bowtechs. Parallel limbs and a long riser to boot. Considering your price range might I suggest one of the Diamond models? They don't have hybrid cams but they do offer a time tested single cam design that continues to remain popular even after other cam designs have been introduced.

Either the Triumph or Rapture would be in your price range.

I disagree , would rather have a dual or hybred camed bow than a single .

Wow this site or my new foxfire program is doing some weird stuff
