Im going to be getting some new arrows for the up and coming season and was looking at the Easton Axis shafts or possibly the Beaman Black max shafts. I was wanting to hear some peoples opinion on these shafts. How good are they, good penetration, durable stuff like that. Thanks for your help.

I used them all last year and found them to be lighting fast. I believe that they are good arrows but I did have one fail on me. The deer tried to jump the string and the arrow hit solid bone and cracked in half. Half the arrow was still in the deer and the other bloodspattered half was on the ground. It was a 1 in 1000 hit that just about any arrow would've failed on so I'm blaming it on me for the bad shot. The deer didn't see me until it was less than 5 yards away and by then well aware of what I was trying to do.

I'm shooting the Easton Axis's as well ,and regardless of what I've heard ,I really like them ,penatration is awsome .I believe thae Axis's are very good arrow's ,but I'm sure you'll also hear the opposite as well.
