I am in the market for a Trail camera, i have never owned one but really would like to get into getting some pictures of some of the deer i have on my land. What camera would you suggest and why? I would like to go digital and money is not an option, i dont care how much it costs i just want a good one that will take high quaility pictures.
Thanks in advance,

If money is no objct then I'd opt for one of the high end units like the new Cuddeback 3.0 or the Penns Woods 4.1mp. Also, there are several people on Ebay that make home brew ones that are supposed to be better than anything you can buy commercialy made. Personally I can't afford one of the expensive ones so I went with the Moultrie digital for around $200 with solar panel & rechargeable battery. Another one you may consider is the Recon Talon. All infrared so no flash to spook the deer and it stamps date/time/moon phase & temperature on each pic. Moultrie will be releasing a new one in September that will do the same thing.

If money is no problem, I would go with a TrailMac Digital. I just got mine a few days ago and can't be more happy. Great battery life, superb picture quality, awsome flash, one of the most expandable units on the market. You can get solar panels or battery extender units for it which allow you to hook up a car battery. It is definetly worth a look.

One of the best homebrew combinations available. Good price too.
