Default Do You Check Your Carbon Arrows Before Every Shot?

This post is really just a friendly reminder to check your carbon arrows before every shot you take. I guess you should check aluminums also but I haven't used them in years. Anyway, below are some pictures of an arrow I was shooting today. I usually check my arrows before my shooting practice but not before every shot. When I placed this arrow on the rest, it made a rattling sound. You know the sound that usually means your field tip came loose. So I took it off and looked at it. Holy Poop!!! This thing could have blown up in my face! Check your arrows before EVERY shot and be safe out there. We don't need an accident this close to hunting season.

Good advice that I am sure not everyone follows. I tend to only check them at the beginning of each shooting session and if I have any reason to suspect damage....hits to nocks, torn fletching, etc....
