Don't see a problem with it. It's the same as a food plot to me.

If it's legal, it's legal but don't even try that "It's no different than..." hooey.

It's legal to herd them up in the corner of a ten foot fence in Texas too.
It's legal in a lot of places to shoot sitting ducks and turkeys off the roost too but only jerks do it.
Food plots and even corn fields don't pop up at 9 am every morning to train them to walk through the shooting gallery in time for you to make work by first break.

Man, you Texans stock has really been falling in my eyes lately and I wasn't even blaming you for Gee Dub.
That's awfully magnanimous of you, Jack Ryan, not blaming us Texans for Gee Dub. (Like that Gore goofball wouldn't have been worse... )

Have you ever actually set foot in Texas to see those 10' fences for yourself or are you basing your opinion on what you've seen on TV? Or are you operating solely on what you've heard from other clueless clods and letting your imagination run wild? Most of those "pens" are better measured in square miles, rather than acres. I don't like 'em, myself, but it's because they're fencing in deer - a public commodity - for their own private gain. I think it should be illegal on those grounds, not because of hunting ethics.

I still say a feeder is no different than planting a food plot to concentrate deer into a specific area. To my mind, if one is unethical, then so is the other. A feeder is no more likely to help spread CWD than a small food plot is (I'm talking automatic feeders, not baitpiles). Let's face it. Those guys who buy the bags of seed at WalMart are not leaving there to go out and fire up the John Deere and plant 50 acres of the stuff. What's the difference in having a timer set to go off a half hour before sundown - or using a light sensor to turn on the motor a half hour before sundown - and having deer naturally show up at the food plot a half hour before sundown?

Heck, what I've seen right here in this thread is enough isn't it?

You won't see me looking into any crystal balls and claiming Gore wouldn't have been worse or better. I'm not talking about worse or better those only have meaning if you base your own goals on somebody else's acheivements.

I'm talking good or sucks and I won't hold him against ya. We stuck ya'all with Quail for a while.
