thats what we live in....a Democracy, not a Dictatorship.
Not to get off of the subject but we don't live in a Democracy we live in a Republic....Democracy is the WAY we govern ourselves.

School is over.....carry on

I have another question for you guys that say baiting is wrong etc. Do you think it is wrong to hunt over an oak tree or a fruit tree? Would you think it was wrong to hunt that tree if it was the only one in the area and the deer congregated to it?

Silent thats a whole different thing. An oak or fruit tree is natural and has always been there so if you want to hunt over it the more power to ya. But throwing corn out a month before and throughout deer season is just wrong to me. but to me its a pretty much cheating. What kinda story does that make anyway?...Well the deer came straight to my corn and starting eating it for a prefect 20 yard broadside shoot and i put a bullet right behind the sholder. WOW exciting stuff.

That's why I posted. I'm glad you didn't get mad, I was just having fun.

This is a tough subject because of the many natural growing foods that deer love and will congregate to.

Native Americans baited, heck they ran bison herds off cliffs. Ethical?
Yep. They hunted like a predator. As it should be. The herds were healthy and plentiful then. Da#$, I step in it again.

My two cents, I hope you all get it figured out.
I doubt it. Lol. I hope you get it figured out how the circle of life is here.

Welcome, by the way.

Does it really matter if a tree puts the food on the ground or a human? Do you not get the same end result. Changing a deers pattern? One walk into the woods could do that. Natural? I bet a lot of the trees that we hunters hunt over were planted by a someone. Natural? The only ones that have a non hypocritical viewpoint are ones that are against baiting, lures, food plots, and anything else put out into the woods to "lure" a deer into range. It's O.K. to feed them this but not that? To lure them in with this but not that? This is "natural" but not that? This changes their pattern but not that? That's cheating but not that...............................[:-]

I use whatever advantages the law allows.

If we were as "skillful" hunters as we say we are, then we wouldn't need camo, scent blockers, scent lures, rattles, grunts, guns, or bows. We could just stalk up to a deer and cut it's throat.
