I have another question for you guys that say baiting is wrong etc. Do you think it is wrong to hunt over an oak tree or a fruit tree? Would you think it was wrong to hunt that tree if it was the only one in the area and the deer congregated to it?

This is a tough subject because of the many natural growing foods that deer love and will congregate to.

Native Americans baited, heck they ran bison herds off cliffs. Ethical?

My two cents, I hope you all get it figured out.

Silent thats a whole different thing. An oak or fruit tree is natural and has always been there so if you want to hunt over it the more power to ya. But throwing corn out a month before and throughout deer season is just wrong to me. but to me its a pretty much cheating. What kinda story does that make anyway?...Well the deer came straight to my corn and starting eating it for a prefect 20 yard broadside shoot and i put a bullet right behind the shoulder. WOW exciting stuff.

All I have to say is come fall Im going to have a freezer full of venison to feed my family and I will have done my part to keep the deer herd in balance. All of this thanks to my corn piles.....

I use whatever advantages the law allows.
If we were as "skillful" hunters as we say we are, then we wouldn't need camo, scent blockers, scent lures, rattles, grunts, guns, or bows. We could just stalk up to a deer and cut it's throat.
