congrats on the deer! I wouldn't be he one to say &quot;it's only a spike&quot; because i've had people say that to me when i killed a button buck and i was proud:It was my first buck. So congratulations on the fine trophy!!!!!!!!!!!<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

way to go chris! now you're really hooked for life. there's something a little more special about your first deer with a bow compared to your first with a rifle. it's nice to see hunters proud of a deer and not pope and young points all the time. keep up the good work.

Congratulations Chris, You will never forget that hunt as long as you live. I just got my first bow buck last year after two years of bowhunting. It was a young 8 pointer. I was never so thrilled in my life.I've gotten alot of deer in my day and bigger ones too with a rifle but there is no comparison. I'll never forget that hunt. It was a huge deal just to be successful on a bowhunt.

Congratulations!! There is nothing better than taking a deer with your bow, and there is no such thing as just a spike! That deer will nourish your body the same way someone else's &quot;trophy&quot; will. In fact, he will be much more tender and should be enjoyed by all. Great job, and good luck in the future!!
