First Harvest - Commemorative Display Case
First Harvest - Commemorative Display Case
Just came in today. This is not the final look of this. Will try to do this also when he takes a deer someday.
But you will get the first look. Have to add a few items, put a wall hanger on it and put some finishing touches to it. Measures 18” x 36”.
This is from his first harvest of a wild turkey.
Has the following items shown.
Tag
Missouri Department of Conservation Magazine for April
Missouri Department of Conservation First Turkey Award
National Wild Turkey Federation Record
Missouri Department of Conservation Spring Pamphlet
Newspaper Article
Magazine with his Picture
Picture of his harvest
Missing items that will be added.
Some of my Turkey Feathers
Shot shell from the hunt
NWTF records pin.Picture of him and his full mounted strutting turkey.

That definitely is a beautiful looking display. I am sure it will be appreciated in the years to come. I wouldn't mind putting something like that together for my son when he takes his first animal...though the press clipping might prove difficult...

Was it your child that tagged the bird?
I can imagine everytime the hunter looks at that they will be right back in the woods, breathing heavy, wide eyed as the tom gobbles and works his way closer.
I can't think of a better way to comerate a hunt.
