Wow, it's crazy to see that in different parts of the country, our needs can change so much! As for me I have never hunted out of a tree stand so I never would have imagined a Pee bottle to be to important!! Thanks for the info!

without a doubt my most valuable hunting tool is my home computer! i set up all my swap hunts in here, and that accounts for nearly 100% of my traveling. i use it to research areas, drawing percentages, regulations, etc. i use it for these bulletin boards like this one, where i get any question pertaining to equipment answered by someone who knows. i can get info on areas on these sites, too. i can buy licenses in some states on here. using my mapsource software and gps, i can "scout" a lot of places without going there. i can order gear on here, store success pictures on here, and type stories with the intent of having them published in hunting mags on here. using this computer i have made a lot of great friends and new hunting partners.
without a doubt my most valuable tool.

I have to agree that the trusty hunting knife is probably my most important hunting tool (besides my bow). Also, I think that the time spent with my brothers ismy most important thing about hunting season itself

There are a lot of tools that are important but I saw one response that said release aid. Since most of us bowhunters use one, we would definately have our day end early without it. That being said, my most important tool is my backup release in my pack. I have dropped my release at least 6 times that I can recall after climbing up a tree and getting all my stuff setup. It's a real pain to climb down and get it, not to mention that I usually work up a sweat doing that.

Absolutely no dought, my scent killer (whatever brand I decide to use) is most valuable. It's normally VERY humid and hot down here, even on up into November at times, and on top of that if the temp. is above 75 degrees I sweat like a big fat pig.
