i bet that was an unusual sight. was the mother around anywhere to be seen? hopefully nothing happened to it's mom.

All young things are cute. This morning while pulling into the range driveway there was a old mom turkey with 8 poults. Man I wish I had the camera. Got out of the van andgot with in about 5 yars when they started to scurry into the under brush. Mom stood her guard. Got to love the outdoors.

i've had that when i go running, i have had up to 10 poults run in front of me within 5-10 yrds, man they run fast when thay are in a hurry lol.

Yeah, she stayed in the woods & after a while got to bawling a bit & the fawn left.
Was definately pretty cool.
