Default Stealth Camera

I put Rayovac batteries in my stealth camera, it has been out for 21 days so far, , the camera light did not read low battery so I left it alone, I won't be able to check it for 2 more weeks. I heard rayovac batteries last long, up to 35 days, anyone with experience on batttery life in stealth cameras?

In my moutrie they did'nt last long in cold weather, 1 week if lucky. It takes the 6 volt lantern battery. Energizers lasted the longest before I went to a rechargeable.

Did you use the silver/blue/black ones? I think they are called Rayovac Ultras? If so then that's about all we use in our 35mm Stealths. We ususally get a solid 5 weeks out of them, sometimes we are able to get 6. And they are cheaper than Energizers and Duracells to boot.

Mike, yep, I used the silver blue and black ones. I am hoping to get 5 weeks out of them.

I use those same batteries in my 1.3mp digital stealth and I get about 3 weeks from a set. This also varies a bit depending on picture count.

I think the manual lists approximately 21 days for an average set of batteries. I tend not to leave a set in longer than that as I would hate to miss some photos. Every three weeks I replace mine and I tend to use Energizer standards.

Sorry I couldn't help more.
