RE: Face paint, headnet or nothing?
Head net , paint stinks to a deer .

RE: Face paint, headnet or nothing?
face paint only. Reason is that the a mask or bib fogs my glases too much so the paint is just better for me.

If it early season and the temps are nice I will not use face paint or head net, just a ball cap in camo of course. My stands are placed on an average of 20 feet and cover.I feel its not necessary to.
Now on the other hand, when it gets COLD in nov and dec(-20c)without the windchill then I will wear a face mask to keep warm.I love hunting in the cold.I can spend a long time on stand if dressed properly, and if your head isn't covered properly then you wont last to long;) |

Face paint!

RE: Face paint, headnet or nothing?
I usually use a head net or nothing at all.

I use a very light weight neck gator. I slip it up over my ears and nose and when a deer I want to shoot gets in range, I slip it back down to my neck to make the shot....... Paint is too messy and I can't feel my anchor through a face mask.

A couple of my stands are on Sycamour trees. On those stands all I wear is a camo hat on backwards. On my other stands I wear face paint from H.S Outdoors. It has no smell but runs when its hot in early season. Early season I actually rub green and black chalk on my face. It comes off easy but doesnt run like paint.
