I have heard from many people at different times on this board that no quality archery equipment (Not talking minor stuff like camo, boots, calls and such) would be found on the shelves of Wal-Mart.
In fact I have read many posts stating that the NAAG line of bows will always have a negative image until they stop selling in Wal-Mart because it makes them look like cheap crap.
Well as many of you know by now because I am sure you have grabbed a 3 pack or 2 at $15..........Muzzy heads can be bought at Wal-Mart now.
Does this mean that Muzzy now has a negative image until they get out of Wal-Mart because it makes them look like cheap crap???
Just wondering.

Walmart carries Sony Digital Camera's and Camcorders, Pentex and Minolta SLR's, other Namebrand electronics so I guess they are junk also!
Seriously, If you pay attention to what you buy, then Walmart has some GREAT buys. Like anything else just because you go to a NAME store dosn't mean you get the best prices. Walmart and Sam's club(the wholesale entity) basicly tell the manufacturer what they will pay for how many items and that is that. If the manufacturer wishes to make the sale it happens if not then you won't find the product on the shelves.
Do I shop there regularly, No but we go there every now and again usally for clothes for my growing daughter! 2nd full wardrobe this year

The walmart near my house has none of the stuff mentioned above. Their hunting section is literally, one two sided display shelf apporimately 15 feet long. They do have a gun rack in addition with maybe 8 guns in it. I never saw the case open. When they opened a few years back it was several rows of racks and a big clothing(camo) department. That stock wasn't replaced in full ever again.

I bought an API stand and muzzy tips from wal-mart. this town is about 100,000 people and not one single sporting goods store here. If you dont go to wal-mart you don't get it. The closest outdoor store is 35-40 minutes away (i still make the trip about once a aweek).

Walmart carries many of the Sims Vibration Laboratories products as well. So I guess Limbsavers are no good pieces of junk that don't work worth a darn.

My Walmart carries Remington and also Mossberg. If it wasnt from WalMart I would be spending a bundle someplace else. Just because name brands are sold at Wal Mart doesnt label them cheap crap. Thats the most rediculous thing I ever heard. My Wal Mart also sells namebrands like Cobra, Tinks, Tru GLo, Warren and Sweat, Mossy Oak, and many more items. I dont think it makes a difference where these items are sold.

I just wonder if all the people that swear they would NEVER buy a bow that has models available at Wal-Mart are now going to throw their Muzzy blades in the trash and convert their API stands into lawn furniture..........That is what you do with junk isn't it???
