Has anyone seen the ridiculous show "The Best & Worst of Tred Barta"?? I flipped it on the other night.... Just who IS this guy? [:'(] Seems waaaaaaaay too over the edge and too full of himself to be taken serious. Is it just my first opinion of the show, or is that the way he really is on the show? He just seemed like a crazy nut, that's all....

That's the one!!! The guys were all in camo and using shotguns to get the geese. Tred Barta was using a long bow and acting like an crazed lunatic, IMHO. You could see it on the faces of the other hunters.... I mean, you could just sense one of the other hunters going, "Man, you got some serious issues!"

yeah the guy is completely full of himself imo. it seems like he thinks he's better than everyone else because he uses a longbow.

He's old school and not afraid to tell you. He's O.K IMO, not so much full of himself just fed up with the way things are today.His attitude may be found abbrasive to some but he never takes the easy way out and seems proud of that fact. You have to admire him for that.

I think you need to see more of his shows to grasp what he is all about. He is not afraid to go out and fail as long as he gives it his all. He is very aware of his abilities and knows his limitations. He admits often that he is not the best shot and was not "gifted" with that ability. He says that he has to work hard to be able to shoot well. One thing he does not do is sugar coat anything, he tells it like it is. He is funny too if you ask me.

He is a very intense person who likes to hunt the "hard way" nothing wrong with that just different.

I never even heard of him of until i watched the show yesterday. THere is just something about him i don't like. As how he hunted with a longbow i don't have an opinion on that.

I like watching it. I just dont like his accent or whatever it is he as.

i agree with BigJ12. i like him and i do think you need to see more of his shows to understand him. on some of his shows he has his kid along with him fishin and he yells at his kid to do stuff and he says the only reason he does that is to be succesful but he loves his kid very much.So basically...work hard....be succesful. i think his shows are kinda bizar(sp?) and the things he does is dif. but all in all i think its pretty cool how he does stuff.

I think he is a jacka$$. I find myself watching the whole show though just to see if some one knocks him upside his fat head. The guy needs to get a grip on something besides his chicken!
