Default I SPOT LIGHT DEER...

That is one of my main scouting tools. Its legal here in Michigan. SO i use it..

Not a damn thing wrong with it either.. All i'm doing is looking at deer.. Something wrong with that?

Nothing wrong with that at all. As I posted earlier, it's the best way to find the deer you want to concentrate your efforts on.
Jacking deer in a spot light isn't cool and should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.IMO. (that and a possible caneing)

I live in Michigan also and do shine deer while its legal, it does help with scouting.

Apparently not if your in Michigan. Try it in Arkansas and you can get a $1000 fine for harassing wildlife.

Its legal in Wisconsin so I too shine deer during legal hours! Very Useful tool. Good luck!
