Where do all of these Cabela's bonus points come from? This is the second post in about 2 weeks where someone wants to by a bow with the bonus points.
To add to what ASH2042 said, don't just buy a bow that someone recommends to you. Get out and shoot some different bows and by one that fits you and that you are comfortable with. You may be very disapointed in a bow that you do not shoot and may therefore not shoot it very well, and be looking to buy a different one in a couple of years or less. Go buy a bow from a local archery dealer and buy the accesories with your bonus points.

Shoot a bunch and then shoot a new Hoyt ProTec. I'd say it is as close to perfect as any bow could get. It's a wisper that after the shoot you wonder if anything has just happened. Mine is 70lb.s very easy to draw nothing to hold.

I would suggest you try to go to a Cabelas store and shoot one. I took a few shots with one this summer. The cams on this bow are the same as the McPherson 'Magneto" cams. They draw very smoothly, and the bow shoots very quietly with minimal recoil, and just a touch of vibration. I shot the bow with no stabillzer on it, so I would think these bows would be very quiet and "dead" on the shot with a decent stabilizer. I would have to say that I didn't care for the grip that much, but that is a personal thing. My opinion, it is a pretty decent bow, but not quite what you can get from some of the top manufacturers.
If you can't go to a Cabelas store, then I would certainly find out if you can return the bow if you don't like it. To be honest, the machining on the cams is not up to the cams on McPhersons, or the Darton Tundra that I own. As others have suggested when asked about using the Cabelas points to buy a bow. Before you take the plunge, go to a pro shop and shoot some bows there to see what you think. You may be sold on something there, and you can use your Cabelas points to buy other hunting items that you need/want.
