First let me welcome you to the board. I have been testing a lot of broadheads of late, and the two mechanical heads that have proven to be the best in my tests have been first the Rocky mtn Snypers and 2nd, the new archery products shockwaves. You can do a search and find a great deal of information on the subject, probably more than you want!

I used the Shockwaves last year. A total pass through - deer went 20 yards never knew what hit him. I shot from a tree stand, 15 feet high, at 25 yards, with a quartering too shot at a pretty sharp angle....

Im TOTALLY sold on Shockwaves after being VERY sceptical until everyone on this forum last year gave me the input I needed on mechanicals....

And I still say thanks to them - Got my first last year a big eight point
