RE: bow press
I got a Bowmaster several months ago, and really like it. I think the price was around $35. If you shoot a quad-limb bow, you'll need to buy a set of adapters for it, around $15-$20. Pretty sure Cabelas & Redhead carry them, probably some other places too. I saw another portable press when I got that one, but to make it "catch" you had to actually draw the bow back. I didn't care for that idea. Can't remember what it was called.

Yep, Bowmaster here too. I've found it to be the simplest and most portable. I think safest too. I use the split-limb adaptors on all bows. Hey. once ya got em ya may as well use em.

Add one more favorable vote to the pile. I keep one in my bow box whenever I go hunting or shooting.
