Default Easton ACC Shafts (3-60 size)

Easton ACC 3-60 Specs:

Construction: Unidriectional carbon fibers and expoxy resin matrix bonded to an aluminum core.

Weight Tolerance: +/- 2.5 grains
Spine Tolerance: +/- 0.005
Straightness Tolerance: +/- 0.003
Shaft Weight per inch: 9.28
Uni Bushing Weight: 7 grains
G series Nock: 7 grains
8-32 Aluminum Insert: 10.5

Overview:
For over a decade the Easton ACC shafts have been a proven hunting and 3D shaft. The reason for this is because they are made to exacting spine & weight tolerences. This is one of the best all around arrow shafts I have tried. They remain my favorite shaft and I have not found another shaft that has matched the quality in a carbon or carbon composite shaft.

Rating systemislike this 1 = poor, 10 = best.

Durablilty: 8 - This shaft is more durable that aluminum but not as durable as a 100% carbon shaft. Still they are tough & really hard to bend or break.

Quality: 10 - I have never had any problems with themin this regard.

Weight Tolerance: 10 - They always match within Eastons standards from 1 dozen to another.

Straightness: 9.5 - These shafts have been the easiest to tune & provided the best accuracy of any carbon based arrow shaft I have used. The only shaft straighter is the XX78 Super Slams that I have found in a real world application.

Price: 5 - ACC's are not cheap to buy! I wish they cost less but then again I think they are worth the money. They have not dropped in price like other shafts but I wish they would.

Warranty: 10 - A 1 year warranty on an arrow shaft is more than fair.

Shootability (for lack of better word!): 10 - These shafts tune easy, fly great, hit where they are aimed & always group super tight.

Total Score: 8.9

Final Comment: If you have not tried this shaft give it a try. I think you will really like it and find is is one of the best if not the best carbon based hunting shaft on the market. The only negative to this shaft is the cost, I just wish I could get a dz. for around $60.00!

Default RE: Easton ACC Shafts (3-60 size)

moonge,

The 3-60 ACC are the the only shafts I have used for the past 3 years.
I use them for both target and hunting. They're a little heavy for certain target applications but I prefer to shoot at least 6 gr. per lb. anyway and the 3-60's are prefect for my needs. Execpt for the $120.00 per dozen price.

Sag.
