RE: Shockwave Mechanical by NAP?
I shot a doe at 35 yards using 100gr. S.W. on a PSE carbon Arrow it was a pass thru shot and a blind man could have followed this blood trail she ran 20-25 and went down. I hve used them for about 3 seasons with no problems.

In reply to my earlier thread, I'm assuming that my father only got part of one lung which would explain some lung blood and at the angle that he shot it, there is not doubt that the broadhead somehow deflected off something and went down along the ribs and protruded out the belly which would explain the white hair at the hit site. If he would have got both lungs we should have found it. We searched for days for that deer and the blood just dissappeared. It was pretty frustrating searching for that deer in when I know he made a good shot, especially in another state with an outfitter who was too busy drinking everyone's beer and was drunk all the time to help. I also had a friend that had the same thing happen to him in NY on a buck last year, he 's a real good shot and has ice in his veins when it comes to whiteails. He said that the blades didn't open at the same time and caused the arrow to loose it's energy and not penetrate properly. To much of a risk for me to take when the momment of truth arrives. I understand that shot angle maybe had something to do with it, but it shouldn't matter if you make a good shot in the vitals.
