New to Bowhunting...I need gear advice...
OK...I'm new to this sport...I decided that killing deer from a "sniper" position is losing some sport. I want to add a little more skill to the hunt. I am as fresh as they come to bowhunting...I have only fired a bow a few times before. I'm looking at several models (combo packages) in the $250-$350 range...HELP! So, far I am leaning towards the PSE Fire Flight...comments?

Glad to hear you're crossing over, wlecome aboard. If hunting with a gun is loosing it's appeal you've made the right desision to try bowhunting. The most important thing is proper fit. For your first bow I wouldn't recommend ordering from a catalog. Go to a pro shop and get set up right right from the get go. It may cost a bit more but you will be better in the long run with a proper fitting bow. For your first bow a high end second hand bow may be a good option.
The fireflight is a good bow. If you get one that fits correctly you'll be shooting it for years to come.

StandSitter:
I would definately go the route that "adams" suggested. However, considering that inventory, taxes and utility bills often take priority with a shop, you might end up with what you should not have, at a price you should not have paid. Plus, there is no guarantee anyone in the shop knows where the hole in the ground is.
As a second option, probably the best option, try working with one of the shop owners that post on this forum.
