I don't have any first hand experience with those heads, but I think they shoud be fine. I will be using innerlocs and muzzys this year on elk.

I would definetly think that the Thunderhead would be fine for elk .I use Steelforce for moose and will continue to use them .I have been planning on trying the montec G5's this season .

I use 125gr. Muzzy's. I am sure your Thunderheads will work great.

good luck,

The thunder heads will work fine. Having said that I much prefer a broadhead that attaches its blades to the furrel with more than sticking them under the tip and a collar at the rear.

Take a look at slick tricks. I have not shot anything with mine yet as I got them after last hunting season but they fly perfectly and I don't think there is a tougher replaceable blade head out there. 100% solid steel and a blade locking system you couldn't get loose with a hammer.
